TACO BOYS PRESENTS
SWEETBREADS - SCENE - (8 minutes in)
Chef Carl Casper is stuck in a creative rut and wants to change his overdone menu - the restaurant owner has other ideas - with Sweetbreads being a particular sore spot.
SWEETBREADS - SERVE
Taco Boys' crispy sweetbreads are served with lime pickle, fennel meringue & smoked hay
Place the hay on a baking tray in a safe place for a flame (e.g your hob or outside). Have a large bowl ready to place over and extinguish your mini bonfire. Dip the crispy sweetbread in the green meringue, light the hay and toast the meringue on the flame - think marshmallows around a camp fire!
AGLIO E OLIO - SCENE (14 minutes in)
After a devasting review from the biggest critic in town, chef Carl Casper blows off some steam by cooking this classic dish for the woman of everyone's dreams - Scarlett Johanson.
Caution: This scene is one of the sexiest food scenes in movie history.

CUBANOS - SCENE (1 hour 11 minutes in)
After a viral breakdown on twitter and losing it all, chef Carl Casper returns home to Miami and fixes up an old food truck. Percy his son and Martin his best friend and sous are along for the ride and are ready to make the best Cubanos in town. Like any self-respecting chef, Martin cares deeply for his meat and is seen here tenderly massaging and marinating his pork.
CUBANOS - SERVE
A classic Taco Boys' beach taco made even more special for this menu.
Mojo marinated roasted pork belly, grilled raclette cheese & heirloom tomato salsa on a hand-pressed corn tortilla.

TEXAS SALMON - SCENE (1 hour 33 minutes in)
After hitting the road, the guys are in Austin at Frank's BBQ - world-renowned for overnight smoked brisket.

An ode to Texan barbecue with a Taco Boys twist.
Hot smoked BBQ salmon, oyster shroom fries, charred baby gem & pickled daikon.
Ranch dressing on the side for that true wild west experience.
CAFE DU STAGE - SCENE (1 hour 28 minutes in)
The El Jeffe crew finally make it to New Orleans and sack off the imaginary Disney Land for the very real Cafe du Monde for Percy's first authentic beignet experience.
These freshly fried doughnuts leave you drooling, while a blossoming father and son relationship leaves you slightly misty-eyed.
CAFE DU STAGE - SERVE
The finale of the Chef menu, a Taco Boys' take on this freshly fried New Orleans doughnut, served with vanilla sucre, crankhouse espresso crème pâtissière & smoked sea salt chocolate fudge.
Thanks for taking part in Taco Boys' ode to the movie Chef, a movie close to our hearts that heavily inspired our own journey. From taking the leap out of a stifling restaurant into the freedom of a taco truck. and finally earning the liberation of having our very own restaurant STAGE, we felt it was fitting to tip our chef hats to El Jeffe's story.
