TACO BOYS PRESENTS
SWEETBREADS - DEATH ON THE BEACH
Inspired by Hemingway's infamous Death in the Afternoon. This is Stage's signature kombucha absinthe cocktail - almost as mad as putting flaming sweetbreads on the menu.
A short apperitif best served on ice with a squeeze of lime and a spring of thyme.
AGLIO E OLIO - GAMAY ROUGE
Smooth and easy red from Le Grappin in the Rhone Valley. Using vacuum eco-packaging this is as close as you can get to drinking straight from the barrel.
Allow to breathe for a fuller-bodied wine.
CUBANOS - BEETROOT SUNRISE
Chef Morgan's signature tequila, beetroot and orange cocktail.
Serve on ice with a sprig of rosemary. Sunrise with beet purée.
TEXAS SALMON - PAPEGAAI
A Palomino/Semillion white blend from one of the baddest winemakers in the Western Cape - having been fired for partying and surfing too much, he now travels around SA selecting the best vines to put into his own wines.
This nutty white pairs perfectly with the smoky texas salmon. Serve chilled.
CAFE DU STAGE - BLACK UKRANIAN
In keeping with the familial message of Chef, brothers Staritsky & Levitsky distil this no.9 craft batch vodka in the Carpathian Mountains which is blessed with crystal clear spring water and black volcanic soil for growing the best grains in the world.
Here we have Stage's take on a Black Russian; Ukranian vodka, Cornish espresso, Taco Boys Cola & Kalhua.
Serve on ice and garnish with magic beans.
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
As you can see, Taco Boys are taking on Exeter's glass recycling struggles. If it's not too much trouble, we would greatly appreciate returns of your bottles and will happily take excess glass bottles off your hands.
